Luxor is a large boned alpaca with a typey Accoyo head and very dense crimpy fiber. His offspring has consistently won ribbons in the NW shows. He is known for adding incredible density to the cria he sires. He is a full Accoyo. His largest sheared fleece weight was in 2000 - 14.0 pounds. More than one shearer has commented on how dense his offspring are as compared to the average alpaca they shear. Although we do not know who Luxor's sire is, there is a possiblity that it is Shere Khan as that is the area of the ranch Luxor's dam was kept. Duncan is the 2001 AOBA Brown Male Huacaya Champion. He has great conformity, including compact stature, with outstanding fine extremely dense fiber from his toes to his top knot. He has the presence of his grandsire, Pperuvian Camilio, and his sire, CAA Capitan Rosado, a multiple blue ribbon winner and CABA Champion. He is 75% Chilean and 25% Accoyo. He has placed his outstanding stamp on a number of offspring, many of which have done well in the show ring. We would consider selling an half or quarter interest in him. Capitan Rosado has won numerous awards through his career including being a Reserve Color Champion at a CABA Show. He has incredible presence as a medium boned male with noticeably erect proud posture and conformation. His crias inherit his imposing, prancing walk. He sired both a 2001 AOBA Color Champion as well as A Reserve Color Champion the same year. Since then he had not been utilized much by two small farms. A son did place 2nd in the Bay Black class at the 2005 AWE show. We were fortunate to be able to purchase him as the two farms retired from the Alpaca business in 2005.
